Michael Tyrell is a writer, educator, actor, and visual artist living in Brooklyn. His poems have been widely published in magazines and anthologies such as Agni, The Best American Poetry, Fogged Clarity, The Iowa Review, The New York Times, The Paris Review, and The Yale Review. He is the author of Phantom Laundry and The Wanted. With Julia Spicher Kasdorf, he edited the anthology Broken Land: Poems of Brooklyn.
He’s acted in the NYC Fringe and other theatre festivals.
